AHM is acronymous where A stands for Arbequina, H for Hojiblanca and M for Picual (also known as marteño because of the village of Martos in Jaén, Spain). This pack contains one 5L bottle of each Single Variety extra virgin olive oil. You can try them all and enjoy them at different times, alternating them or cooking specific dishes with them.
– Arbequina Single Variety extra virgin olive oil offers us a flavour and aroma of freshly cut grass. It seems that it is a milder olive oil at first. Still, a few seconds after tasting it, you can appreciate how the herbaceous nuances suddenly appear to surprise your palate.
Arbequina is perfect on toast, sauces (mayonnaise), baking, fish, sweets, and desserts. It is the ideal Single Variety for people who prefer milder flavours. Perfect for children who may not be used to the more potent olive oils yet. That way, they can get involved in the extra virgin olive oil world.
– Hojiblanca Single Variety extra virgin olive oil offers us a medium intensity with a fruity and soft prickly taste and slightly sweet flavour.
Hojiblanca variety is ideal in toasts, warm salads, gazpachos, and pastries.
– Picual Single Variety extra virgin olive oil has a strong personality. Its main characteristic is a bitter touch in the end due to its high content of polyphenols. The Picual cultivar is the most widely cultivated in the south of Spain.
Picual variety has a less fruity flavour and causes a more pricking sensation in the mouth. The fresh EVOO is greenish-yellow coloured.
